Chamegs goal is to improve on the living conditions of underprivileged persons in Cameroon - especially women, the girl child and youths, through sustainable livelihood efforts.   Chameg works in the belief that women are central to transforming their own lives and the lives of their families and communities. 

Our target clients are women, girl children, and youths.  We support rural women to create change not only for their own communities but for the wider rural population of which they are part of.

Women: Farmers in the villages. This group is made up of 50% of our targeted population. - Presently those living with the virus in this group are few about 20%. However they are highly ignorant of the existence of the virus, its causes and prevention methods.

Sex Workers in towns and villages: This group is pretty small, about 10% of our targeted population but the percentage of those living the virus in this category is very high.

Youths: over 95% of persons in this target group are carries. - Girls of ages 15 to 25 years i.e. from secondary to university level. (the most vulnerable group, death rate amongst this group is to high. - Boys from 15 to 25 years too.
